She did and I have to admit that it kinda hurts to admit that because I didn’t think Hollis could even sidle up next to Bodi on BBF list, but holy f$-^$%g h%ll, he did that and more! (Please note that I am still a full fledged member of #TeamBodi while being apart of #TeamHollis) I’m still in a total swoony-twiterpatted-dopey smile state of being right now over Stroked Hard and it all has to do with Hollis Knightly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a laugh while they swoon. I can’t wait to read more by Meghan Quinn. I really enjoyed seeing it from Hollis’ POV in Stroked Hard, especially when he was dealing with some serious heartbreak. I not only loved the couples, but I loved the friendship between Hollis and Reese. I also enjoyed seeing friendships from the other perspective as well. It was interesting to see the same time frame through six different sets of eyes. Some of the things Hollis said and did to win Melony’s heart was absolutely swoonworthy. I don’t know how she didn’t break down with him sooner since he was so relentless. The banter between Melony and Hollis was great. I loved how sassy she was and that she often stood up for herself against Bellini, who was a total jerkface. Melony was also a pretty great character. They were so awesome and supportive of him, it was cool to see. His parents were a total hoot, putting together signs and shirts to wear to the Olympic trials and then the Olympics. I loved Hollis’ relationship with his parents and his sister. More men should do this in real life, I bet it would work out pretty great for them. On top of that, he used what he read to romance Melony and treat her right in the bedroom. I thought it was awesome that he read romance novels and wasn’t ashamed of it. Hollis was most definitely a loveable hero.
